Registration for the Spring Athletic Season will open Monday, February 5, 2024

REGISTRATION INFORMATION:

Registration:

Athletes must have all required documents and the registration completed before participation on the first day of the season; this includes completing the online registration, uploading a current physical and paying the district athletic fee (Information below)

Physical Examination:

Students registering for athletics must have a current physical examination on file before the student is authorized to participate in practice/tryouts. To ensure clearance for participation, physicals should be uploaded when they complete the online registration and must be done prior to the first day of practice/tryouts.

Physicals are valid for 1 year from the date of the last exam and must state that the student is cleared to participate in sports.

Payments:

Students registering must pay the MANDATORY $175 district athletic fee in order to be cleared to participate. You can make payments at Payforit.net or by calling the bookkeeping office at 720-972-6736.   If you are on Reduced Lunch, your fee will be $87.50. If you are on Free Lunch your fees will be waived. Please upload a copy of your letter from nutrition services to your registration or email a copy to Katie Nicholas at nic026687@adams12.org

Transfer Students:

Any student who is NOT a freshman and attended a high school other than Legacy last semester AND any student who participated in sports at another high school in the last 365 days.  You must submit a CHSAA transfer request as early as possible; contact the athletic director to begin this process.  The transfer must be approved by CHSAA before the student will be eligible to compete for Legacy. 

Homeschool or students attending a different school:

Students who live in the Legacy boundaries but are homeschooled or attend a school that does not offer the sport can play that sport for Legacy.  You must complete the online registration with a physical uploaded, provide grades from the previous semester, provide proof of residency and will pay an extra $87.50 in addition to the $175 district athletic fee.
